These are all questions you might be asking yourself. Whether you decide to buy a WFL warranty or not, we feel it is our job to inform you (the consumer) about buying an extended warranty for your automobile.

1. What is an extended warranty?
Once the manufacturer's warranty expires, you have nothing to protect you from expensive vehicle repairs. ProAuto Guard Product Warranty by WFL offers limited power train coverage on the engine, transmission and transfer case (the heart and lungs of your vehicle) for the next 5 years or 100,000 miles. It pays all parts, labor and sales tax (if applicable) for all covered repairs in the US or Canada.

2. Why do I need an extended warranty?
There are many reasons to purchase an extended warranty. Your vehicle is one of your biggest investments. An extended warranty will ensure it is always in the best mechanical condition. With the complexity of today's vehicles, one major repair often costs more than the extended warranty. Hourly labor rates can top $100 or more per hour in some markets.

3.When does my coverage start?
Your ProAuto Guard Product Warranty by WFL has a short waiting period of only 30 days and 1000 miles from the purchase date of the warranty.

4. Is the warranty transferable?
Our warranties are fully transferable; ProAuto Guard Product Warranty by WFL will increase the resale value of your vehicle.

5. How are claims paid?
Simply allow the repair facility (ASE Certified) to contact our claims department and we will take care of the bill. There in no deductible, no paperwork, no need to lay out any cash. We cover parts, labor and even sales tax if applicable.

6. Are the warranties insured?
Yes, ProAuto Guard Product Warranty by WFL is insured by an AM Best Rated insurance carrier with an "A" Rating or higher.

7. What is AM Best Rated?

8. Are there payment options?
WFL offers an EZ Pay Plan with 0% interest. You can get started with a small down payment. We accept all major credit cards and checks for payment plans.

9. Do you offer additional benefits?
Take advantage of any or all the benefits we offer including 24/7 roadside assistance, which includes towing, fuel delivery, jump start, tire change and more. It also includes car rental.

10. Where can I take my vehicle for repairs?
You can take your vehicle to any licensed (ASE Certified) repair facility of your choice. You may take it in for repairs at your local dealer, your favorite repair shop, or any national chain that performs vehicle repairs such as Pep Boys, Goodyear, or Firestone.

11. What if I want to cancel my warranty?
If you cancel in the first 30 days, you are entitled to a full refund.

12. Can I buy an extended auto warranty from my dealer?
Most of the time the dealer only offers an extended warranty at the time or your purchase.

13. Do I pay a deductible?
There is no deductible with ProAuto Guard Product Warranty by WFL.

14. Where do I get my VIN?
Your VIN, or Vehicle Identification Number, is located in several areas and is your car's unique identifying number.
To find your VIN, check the following areas:
  • On the vehicle's registration card
  • On a sticker inside the driver side door
  • On the driver's side dashboard of your car
  • On the title to your vehicle
  • On your insurance card
15. How does it work?
By purchasing an extended ProAuto Guard Product Warranty by WFL, you can reduce your unexpected out of pocket expenses on covered automobile repairs by 100%.

After you purchase a warranty, you must continue to maintain your vehicle in accordance with the manufacturer's specifications and have your oil changed every 4,000 miles.

In the event of a mechanical breakdown, call the number located on your roadside assistance card and have the vehicle towed to the repair facility of your choice and have them call our claims office to get the final claim approved. Once the claim is approved, the repair shop will fix or replace all covered part(s) and the bill will be paid over the phone.
